Friendly staff, excellent food and wine, room space and free extras like fruit, water and sweets.
Very friendly staff/best food/very good location.
Incredible view! Beautiful place. Gourmet dinner, good breakfast and excellent service.
Might not be suitable for small loud children. We were the only family with kids.
Excellent service, beautiful location, comfortable rooms. Not modern, but very comfortable.
Internet service in the room was poor -- weak signal. OK in the lobby.
Very friendly staff. Beautiful decor,a family friendly place, caters for all ages. The location was ideal with Magnificent views, funicular and golden pass train very close , so easy access to Montreux and Rochelle de Naye etc. Pass given by hotel for travel. Food was excellent, the presentation and service was very good. Very spacious rooms, balcony with views. Fresh fruit replenished daily.
Needs air conditioning in the summer nights.
excellent service, excellent location, spaceous room with great view
A delightful 'old fashioned' hotel over looking lake geneva. The village is very quiet and not much to do but the hotel is a swiss classic and the public rooms are beautifully furnished with wonderful pictures. They give you a free pass to take the small mountain train into Montreux. Dinner on the terrace in the summer is not cheap but extremely good and a great exoerience. We have been coming here for 25 years driving to and from our home in Eze and love it. Beautiful gardens and a wonderful place to relax. We were upgraded on arrival to a beautiful newly refurbished room which was outstanding.
The village is rather dull but that is more than compensated by the hotel, its gardens and the views.
Well, when you have "have seen the world" and you come here, you realized you didn't. This hotel has preserved all but all the ingredients which made Switzerland THE tourist spot at the end of the 19th century. The owner was able to preserve the sole of the hotel while bringing it up to modern standards. If the weather is good, you will be the champion of the world (lake - was about to say "sea" view. Service is second to none, food 1st class (try the Swiss wines of which they have a huge choice!). If you want to experience what was true Swiss charme (yes it exists!) at a place the brings Lago di Como, Amalfi Coast and the Alps toghether then do no miss it. Thank you Victoria - keep going strong!
In terms of decoration, you may feel it is a bit too much or close to "kitchy". For us it gave a special touch since each piece seemed to be collected and had a reason to be in this place.
actually we (my self and my son) both like the location, gardens, the bar the resturant, the room and the services. It location is ideal for some one who wants to relax and cool down.
Very nice hotel, fantastic panoroma, beautiful surroundings and decoration, really elegant ambience, spacious room, very good breakfast;definitely come back.
Tasty food provided by restaurant.
I feel too proud of rank for the hotel by all staff. This means second class hotel. Not for real executive.
A recommander.
